What This Fault Means

E.OH indicates the drive's internal temperature sensor detected excessive heat. The drive trips to protect the power electronics from thermal damage.

  1. Verify the ambient temperature inside the enclosure is below 40°C.
  2. Ensure minimum clearances: 50mm above/below, 25mm sides.
  3. Check that the internal fan spins freely (applicable to larger frame sizes).
  4. Reduce the load or upgrade to a higher-rated drive if continuously overloading.
  5. Allow the drive to cool before resetting.
